<p align="center">Los papeles, los cartones las cáscaras de frutas y de verduras pueden ser una fuente de energía. Sí, están hechos de compuestos orgánicos que han recogido energía del sol. Pueden quemarse y producir electricidad. Hay muy pocos lugares en que se recicle la basura para producir electricidad. En la mayoría de las poblaciones la basura se recoge y se amontona en algún lugar. Sin embargo, se podría sacar mucho provecho de la basura. Hay pocas ciudades que se hayan ocupado de sacar provecho de la basura que recolecta. Por ejemplo en algunas poblaciones se pide que los ciudadanos separen sus desechos: en un lugar, los que son metálicos; , en otro, los que son de plásticos; en lugar especial, el vidrio; en otro, los papeles y por fin los desechos orgánicos. ¿Por qué esta división? Porque si están separados será fácil el llevarlos a las plantas recicla doras. Lo metálico tendríamos que reciclarlo todo. Principalmente son compuestos de fierro, de cobre y de aluminio. El vidrio es también reciclable. Se pueden hacer nuevos objetos de vidrio. Con el papel se puede volver a hacer papel o transformarlo en cartón para otros usos. Con lo orgánico se puede hacer un abono de gran calidad para las plantas que se llama "composta".</p>
